1848 April 10th. Marriage at Darlington of William Lister, Ironfounder, to Mrs (Elizabeth) Atkinson, the relict of Mr. Atkinson of the Three Tuns inn.[2]

1850 Estate of William Lister, late of Darlington, Iron-Founder and Engine Builder. Executors are Joseph Stephenson, Civil Engineer; John Harrison, Coach Builder; and Michael Windale, Cabinet Maker, all of Darlington.[3]
