1922. 'William Milward Richardson died on Thursday at his residence, at the advance age of 83. He had been an invalid for a number of years. He never took much part in public affairs, but by reason of his business activities he was one time one of Derby's best known citizens. One of the principal partners in the firm of W. and J. Richardson, curriers and leather merchants, he was also for a number years director of the Derby Gas Co'[1]
