WILLIAM MITCHELL CRAWFORD died after a short illness on May 31, 1920.

As Manager of the Home Metals and Agency Department of Messrs. A. G. Kidston & Company, of Glasgow - which position he had held for twenty-five years - his work brought him in close touch with shipbuilders, locomotive builders, engineering firms, and railway companies, and his active and cheery personality made him many friends.

He was elected a member of the Institute of Metals on September 1, 1910.
