William Peek (1791-1870), tea and coffee dealer, of Peek, Frean and Co

1791 Born in Devon, son of John Peek

1835 Dissolution of the partnership between Richard Peek, William Peek, and James Peek, of Liverpool, in the County of Lancaster, Wholesale Tea and Coffee-Dealers, trading under the firm of Peek, Brothers, and Co. was dissolved by mutual consent, the said Richard Peek retiring from the said Liverpool business. All debts due to and owing by the said late Copartnership will be received and paid by Messrs. Peek, Brothers, and Co. of Eastcheap, in the City of London, Wholesale Tea, Coffee, and Spice Dealers[1]

1839 Admitted to the Freedom of the City of London

1844 Dissolution of the partnership between William Peek, James Peek, and Henry Winch, of Liverpool, in the county of Lancaster, Tea Merchants and Wholesale Dealers in Teas, Coffees, and Spices. The business is now carried on by the said Henry Winch, William Peek junr. and Henry William Peek, the latter, sons of the late partners[2]

1847 Dissolution of the partnership between William Peek, James Peek, and Richard Habberfield, of the city of London, Tea Merchants and Wholesale Dealers in Tea, Coffee, and Spices. The business is now carried on by William Peek, junior, Richard Habberfield, and Henry William Peek, the sons and nephew of the late partners.[3]

1861 His son Richard was admitted into the Founders Company of the City of London
