We regret to announce the death of Mr. W. R. Beldam, a director of Beldam Asbestos Company, Ltd, and other companies, which occurred on October 30th.

After serving his time with W. H. Allen, Sons and Co., Ltd., of Bedford, Mr. Beldam joined his brother, Ernest, in the family business on his father's death in 1903.

His special interest was in technical and production problems and in 1923 he became founder director of Auto-Klean Strainers, Ltd.

In later years Mr. Beldam was also chairman of the Submerged Log Company, Ltd.
