We regret to have to record the death of Mr. William Smith, of Nottingham, which took place at Hoveringham on the 6th inst. Mr. Smith, who was sixty-six years of age, was the youngest son of the late Mr. Sydney Smith, founder of the Basford Brass Works. For many years he was associated with his brother, Mr. Isaac Smith, in the Basford business, from which he retired some years ago owing to ill health.
