1926 William Stewart (Preserves) Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £600, to carry on business as makers of pickles, chutneys, and sauces.[1] The company occupied the premises formerly used by James Sorbie Ltd.

1928 The company went into liquidation.[2]
