1898 Born.

Educated at Pembroke College, Cambridge.

WWI Served in R.N.A.S. and later in R.A.F.

1923 Retired from R.A.F. as Flight-Lieutenant.

1939 Rejoined R.A.F. for Flying Duty.

1942-44 Director of Air Training Corps

1939-45 M.P. for Swindon, 1935-45.

1954 Became Chairman, Park Royal Vehicles, Ltd., as well as Deputy-Chairman, A.E.C., Ltd. and a Director, Associated Commercial Vehicles, Ltd.
