1882 Mention. 'Thomas Williams and James Metcalfe, trading as Williams and Metcalfe, both of the Rheidol Foundry, Aberystwith aforesaid, Engineers and Millwrights,'[2]

1890 Advertisement for Water Wheels. Williams and Metcalfe, Rheidol Foundry.[3]

1895 Advertisement for Water Wheels. Williams and Metcalfe, Rheidol Foundry.[4]

1901 Fire destroys buildings of Williams and Metcalfe, Rheidol Foundry and 40 men will lose employment.[5] Presumably this when they moved to Manchester and traded as Davies and Metcalfe

Appears the premises were taken over briefly by the Manchester and Milford Engineering Co
