1948 'Mr. J. E. Wilson, managing director, Wilson’s (of Wolverhampton) Limited; Nearly 50 per cent, of our production is for export to-day. We employ 24 Lichfield people and they help to make vices, electric furnaces and dairy equipment. We hope to get started on the erection of new buildings soon.'[1]
