1900 Company founded by S. Wolfe and C. Kerr to import and sell machine tools and portable electric tools, etc[1]

1904 Electric hand drill described and illustrated here [2]

1907 of 138, Southwark Street, S.E., exhibited an assortment of low-tension plugs, manufactured by this company, suitable for all makes of vehicles.[3]

1910 S. Wolf and Co were English agents for the new Solex Duplex-Jet Carburetter[4] and the Solex circular radiator[5]

1912 U. H. magnetos.

1913 Solex carburettors.

1913 Company registered as S. Wolf and Co Ltd.

1914 The latest variant of the Solex duplex-jet carburetter was manufactured by S. Wolf and Co., Ltd.[6]

By 1926 the Southwark Street premises had been taken over by the Solex (Licencees) Ltd. Presumably Wolf moved to Ealing around this time.

1932 Began to develop and trade its own electric portable tools

Valve Seat Grinding and Valve Grinding Machines for motor car valves. Car polishing machines.(Electricity: Industrial and Domestic Section - Stand No. Cb.310) [7]

1949 Name changed to Wolf Electric Tools.
