1891 Peter Maury Deas (age 49 born Scotland), Duty Registrar. With his wife and five children. Three officers. Gardener and family. 58 servants / staff. 67 female and 47 male - Total of 114 inmates.[2]

1869 Opened. Housed 120 inmates. Architect was W. F. Cross and G. M. Cummings.[3]

1914 Held 117 inmates.
