Wootton Wawen Aqueduct

Cast iron aqueduct on the Stratford-on-Avon Canal in Warwickshire. Built 1813.
Engineer: William Whitmore.
Two more aqueducts are located nearby: Edstone Aqueduct and Yarningale Aqueduct.
Similar in design to the Edstone Aqueduct, but with a number of detail differences. The cast iron support beams are simpler than at Edstone, and the cast iron panels are shorter and deeper. Also, unlike Edstone, the castings do not incorporate raised bosses beneath the heads of the bottom row of nuts.
