Post WWII: Woods of Colchester introduced Xpelair fans for use in kitchens and bathrooms.

1966 GEC acquired the parent company[1]

1970-88 The Xpelair factory based in Witton, Birmingham.[2]

1998 General Domestic Appliances was reorganised with the Redring and Xpelair brands split off to become GDA Applied Energy.
