Yarrow-Schlick-Tweedy Balancing System
In the late 19th century, the Yarrow-Schlick-Tweedy balancing system was introduced, and applied to many marine triple- and quadruple-expansion engines.[1]
The system was named after Alfred Yarrow, Ernst Otto Schlick and John Tweedy
