Yote Manufacturing Co of Mere Green Works, Four Oaks, Warwickshire.

Originally formed as a gun and pistol maker by Joseph Riley and later diversified in to making pianos and then parts for gramophones. Late 1920s moved to producing stainless steel cutlery.[1]

1963 Factory extension.[3]

1970 Pressworkers, machinists, assemblers and toolmakers. Chairman and MD - R. Duncomb Riley. Directors - Miss B. Phillips and Mrs M. K. Riley.

Notes

M.D is probably Raymond Duncomb Riley (1923-2002) who married 1971 at Liskeard to Betty Phillips
