Shuttle Makers
- 1849 Founded by Thomas Comstive[1] in partnership with his brothers William, and Joseph Comstive.[2]
- 1854 Thomas Comstive of Burnley, shuttle maker. Patent: improvements in the shuttles for weaving[3]
