1885 5 HP horizontal steam engine. Formerly drove machinery in mechanics' workshop of [[T. D. Whitfield and Sons]] of Oak Lea Mill, Bradford. On display at [[Bradford Industrial Museum]] (see photo).
 
1894 The building completely destroyed by fire. The 20 workmen escaped without harm. Mr. Clabour's house alongside was OK.<ref>Bradford Daily Telegraph - Saturday 22 December 1894</ref>

'...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned, [[James Arthur Clabour]] and [[John Bowling Clabour]], carrying on business as Engineers at Guiseley, in the county of York, under the style or firm of J. B.
