1864 Company founded by Thomas Peckett
c1881 Takes over Fox, Walker and Co
1891 Advert. Locomotive engine builders. [1]
1911 Manufacturer of Locomotives for the Railways.[2]
1914 Private company.
1950s Company being run by Frank Peckett and Wilfred Peckett, two of the sons of Thomas. Frank retired in 1954.
1958 June 12th. Made their last steam engine No. 2165 and sold to a sugar estate in Mozambique
1960 Listed under Diesel, steam and fireless locomotives. [3]
1961 Manufacturers of diesel mechanical locomotives, components and special purpose valves. 110 employees. [4]
1970 Myson Group acquired the Reside group from Cope Allman International which included Peckett and Sons, supplier of locomotive spares[5]
