1989 As part of the Hunslet group, Andrew Barclay, Sons and Co was renamed Hunslet-Barclay

1995 Hunslet-Barclay Ltd, a subsidiary of Jenbacher Holdings (UK) plc, chiefly undertook maintenance and refurbishment of diesel multiple unit passenger trains at the Andrew Barclay Caledonia Works in Kilmarnock.
