1883 Company established.

1914 Wholesale oil and grease manufacturers. Specialities: rosin oils, grease-making oils, Russian turpentine, drying oils for paint manufacture, greases and solidified oils. [1]

1921 Sandeman Brothers was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £45,000, to take over the business of oil and colour manufacturers carried on at Ruchill Oil Works, Glasgow, under the name of Sandeman Brothers.[2]
