Part of ICI's Bioscience Products Group
Presumably a successor to ICI Agricultural Division and Scottish Agricultural Industries
By 1991 the business was one of the world's top 3 agrochemical businesses. It supplied herbicides, pesticides, fungicides and plant growth regulators.[1]
1993 ICI decided to separate bioscience businesses from the rest of the group - pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, specialties, seeds and biological products were placed into a new and independent company called Zeneca Group.
