Assistant Engineer in the Electricity Department of the Blackpool Corporation and subsequently employed as Inspecting Engineer by [[Robert Hammond]], M.Inst.C.E. In 1897 was appointed Managing Engineer to the [[Reading Electric Supply Co]]., Ltd., and in 1905 Managing Engineer to the [[Bombay Electric Supply and Tramways Co]]., Ltd. Retired from this position in 1913 and has since been in practice as a Consulting Engineer, acting for several undertakings in India. Director of several private companies. Clubs: Royal Automobile and Queens, London; Byculla, Bombay.
