John Harvey (1730-1803) of Harveys of Hayle was a Cornishman whose career started as a blacksmith and engineer at Carnhell Green near Hayle, in West Cornwall.
1730 Born the son of William Harvey, a Blacksmith of Illogan and his wife Anne
1756 Married Anne Pearce, a daughter of William Pearce of Grinear
