Brief History: In 1859 [[Alexander Kenyon]] opened a small shop near Victoria Station, Salford, selling waste rags, oils, packing, etc., to mills. His son, W. H. Kenyon, joined the firm in 1885 and developed the business. He remained active until his death in 1944, aged 85.
