1830s possibly built three locomotives for the [[London and Greenwich Railway]], one of which was 2-2-2. All would appear to be of the Stephenson "Planet" type. However, one source<ref>'London's First Railway - The London & Greenwich' by R H G Thomas, Batsford 1972</ref> names the maker as William Marshall and Sons of Lea Brook, Tipton.

William Marshall of Gravesend

1830s possibly built three locomotives for the London and Greenwich Railway, one of which was 2-2-2. All would appear to be of the Stephenson "Planet" type. However, one source[1] names the maker as William Marshall and Sons of Lea Brook, Tipton.
