With his wife Emma (age 29 born Coventry) and their children Eliza (age 11 born Coventry); Walter Spurgeon (age 9 born Coventry); Alfred Spurgeon (age 7 born Coventry); Clara (age 2 born Coventry); and William (age 1 month born Coventry). Also brother Walter Spurgeon (age 61 born Halsted, Essex).[1]
