1947 The shares owned by De La Rue Plastics were acquired by Powell Duffryn[3] who thus became sole owners
Had developed a new carbon product which had great advantages in terms of manufacture and finished product; this was commercialised by Powell Duffryn Carbon Products under the name Delanium.
1947 Name changed to Powell Duffryn Research Laboratories Ltd; would work for all the companies in the Powell Duffryn organisation.
1950 All R&D work at Battersea was moved to Hayes[4]
