1885 company founded by Arthur Bonnick
The weaving industry had entered a period of rapid decline, forcing William Riley to seek more profitable ventures
1890 Riley and his associates acquired the Bonnick Cycle Co., which they re-named the Riley Cycle Co six years later.
1896 Company bought by William Riley, (Junior) and became the Riley Cycle Co
