1820 April 24th. Born at Holborn the son of William Newton, patent agent, and his wife Jemima


1853 September 27th. Married in London to Emily Macken


1860 Patent. '683. And to [[Alfred Vincent Newton]], of the Office for Patents, No. 66, Chancery-lane, in the county of Middlesex, Mechanical Draughtsman, for the invention of "an improved construction of nail plate feeder." - A communication to him from abroad, by John Waldron Hoard and Thomas A.
