The mill was located immediately south of [[Stalybridge Aqueduct]], its walls being flanked by the River Tame and the [[Huddersfield Canal]]. The truncated chimney and some of the buildings survive, and part of the mill is currently (2015) occupied by Bendcrete Climbing Walls Ltd.
