"ERNEST HEMUS, whose death occurred on 10th May 1951 at the age of sixty, was elected a Member of the [[Institution of Automobile Engineers]] in 1943. He began his professional career in 1904 as an improver to [[GKN|Guest, Keen, and Nettlefold, Ltd]]., and after four years' experience was successively employed as machine operator for the [[Austin|Austin Motor Company, Ltd]]., Birmingham, and marker out for the [[Daimler|Daimler Motor Company, Ltd]]., Coventry, and the [[Baguley Cars|Baguley Motor Company, Ltd]]., Burton-on-Trent. "ERNEST HEMUS, whose death occurred on 10th May 1951 at the age of sixty, was elected a Member of the Institution of Automobile Engineers in 1943.
