GUILLERMO BOBRZYK, of Garrucha, Spain, died at Magdeburg in September 1897. He was a man of high professional standing as a mining engineer, and contributed largely to the development of the lead and iron mining industries of the provinces of Almeria, Murcia, and Granada. His interests were not confined to his professional work. He possessed great literary taste, and collected a unique library dealing with the Moorish dominion in Spain.


He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1892.

GUILLERMO BOBRZYK, of Garrucha, Spain, died at Magdeburg in September 1897. He was a man of high professional standing as a mining engineer, and contributed largely to the development of the lead and iron mining industries of the provinces of Almeria, Murcia, and Granada. His interests were not confined to his professional work. He possessed great literary taste, and collected a unique library dealing with the Moorish dominion in Spain.

He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1892.
