1960 Packaging Products (Holdings) formed as a joint venture between Lloyd's Packing Warehouses and the Packing Materials Association, to combine their waterproof and waxed paper manufacturing interests.[1]

1967 Merger of the interests of 3 companies in waterproof papers, plastic films and bags, self-adhesive tapes and other products - Cope, Allman and Co, Capseals Ltd and PMA Holdings. Later Capseals acquired its partner's interests[2]

1980 Acquired waterproof paper subsidiary of Jefferson Smurfit[3]

1982 Worcester Engineering acquired the Packaging Products subsidiary of Capseals specialising in waterproof and barrier papers[4]
