A handsome cast iron bridge of 65 ft span over the River Avon, built by the Horseley Ironworks. There are four ribs, each comprising four castings.
The contractor was Thomas Townshend.
It would have been difficult to find a more obscure location for the inscription 'This bridge was built at the expense of the Revd. John Lucy Rector of this Parish A.D. 1829'.
Slender tie bars were installed between the ribs in 1991.
