1899 A partnership was formed between a Mr Dailley and a Mr Wilkinson to manufacture paper doyleys and ornamental paper for mantel shelves in houses in Islington, London.
1907 Mr Wilkinson left the partnership and the business known as Dailley and Co was set up. The name of Deeko came from the D of Dailley and -ko instead of the usual Co for company.
1929 Patent - Improvements in or relating to drinking cups and a method of manufacturing the same. [1]
1933 Patent - Improvements relating to paper or like cups or cases as used for jellies, ices and other sweetmeats. [2]
