Member of the [[Berkshire Automobile Club]]
1908 Miss Muriel Thompson in [[Austin: Pobble|Pobble]] took first place in the first Brooklands race for women - The [[1908 Ladies Bracelet Handicap|Ladies Bracelet Handicap]].
She acted as chauffeur to Emmeline Pankhurst and other prominent suffragettes
WWI Decorated  as an ambulance driver and medic - included the British Military Medal.
1939 March 3rd. Died.

Muriel Thompson (1875-1939)

1875 Born in Aberdeen the son of Cornelius Thompson, Ship Owner, and his wife Agnes Marion Williamson. Sister of Oscar Stephen Thompson
