Takes the A4 road over the River Avon at Newbridge, on the western outskirts of Bath.
Grade II* listed. See Historic England entry, which states that the original bridge with three arches was designed by 'Mr. Hobbs' and built by or for John Strahan or by Ralph Allen. Rebuilt with a single arch in late C18th, and widened by William Armstrong of Bristol in 1831-1834. [1]
