James Spooner (1790-1856)

1790 Born at Leigh near Worcester

Trained as a land surveyor and is believed to have worked as a civilian member of an Ordnance Survey team.

1813 Married Elizabeth Easton and his first three children were Matthew, James Swinton Spooner, and Caroline.

1818-24 Lived at Maentwrog where Charles Easton Spooner, Louisa, Thomas and Amelia were born.
