D. Summers-Smith, BSc, PMD, Member has been associated with lubrication since 1953. Initially this involved research in the fields of boundary lubrication, wear and seals. His publications include a book, An Introduction Tribology in Industry and a number of papers on the lubrication of process plant machinery and particularly with the problems of lubrication in chemical environments.
