Norwegian engineer.

Also known as Hallvard or Halvard Nilsson Grytnes.

Born 5 Feb 1878, died 5 Nov 1954.

He graduated at Trondhim Technical College in 1901, and initially worked at Trondhjems Elektrisitetsverk in 1902. In 1903 he was at the Phoenix Bridge Co, Phoenixville, PA. 1904-05 at King Bridge Co., Cleveland, Ohio. From 1906 he was bridge engineer at Lake Shore & Michigan Southern Railway Co., Cleveland, and from 1909 was chief of the drawing office. He returned to Norway in 1920.[1]
