1952 Durable Plastics Ltd was incorporated, manufacturer of mouldings in various plastics
1962 Plastic Coatings Ltd of Guildford was a manufacturer and applier of plastic coatings.
1969 Public offering of shares in the company
1976 Imperial Group reorganised its plastics activities; both Plastic Coatings Ltd and Creators group of companies became part of Plascoat International Ltd[1]
1980 Name of Plastic Coatings Ltd was changed to Plascoat U.K. Ltd
1982 Acquired by Australian Consolidated Industries
By 1994 was a subsidiary of BTR plc
