1938 Died. 'The death has occurred of Mr. G. A. Hodson, who for thirty years was Managing Director of [[Hathernware]] Ltd., Hathern, Loughborough, and the [[Cliff Brickworks]], Tamworth. Mr. Hodson had guided the firm's activities with vision and courage, his personal touch with the employees having won for him great respect. Although taking no active part in local affairs, he was always keenly interested in the welfare of the district. With the passing of Mr. Hodson is lost a well-known figure in the clay industry; he was a friend of the late Mr. Irvine Bailey, of [[George Skey and Co|Messrs.
