Hall’s Patent Anchor Company Limited was registered on 2 Mar 1892 to acquire the patent rights for the manufacture of Hall’s patent stockless anchor from the patentees, John Francis Hall and John Verity, as shown in the notice attached.[1] A second report on the formation of this company refers to an agreement between J F Hall and J Verity of the first part and N Hingley and Sons Limited of the second part, to acquire certain patents and patent rights for improvements to Hall's Patent Stockless Anchor.[2]
