1909 Patents (three) for the generation and storage of electrical power for house lighting.

1912 The automatic lighting plants, powered by Austin engines of 2 to 28 bhp and specially designed for this purpose, were used by houses, hotels, railway stations etc. [1]

1915 Bought by Austin

1925 The products which had been succesful for Austin since 1915 were hived off into the Austin Electric Co
