William George Rees was born in 1903 and apprenticed at the [[Woolwich Arsenal|Royal Arsenal, Woolwich]]. The whole of his subsequent career was passed at the Arsenal, first as Junior Draughtsman on jig and tool work, later as Mechanical Engineering Draughtsman in the Tank Section, and latterly as Draughtsman, Grade I, engaged on design work on tanks and armoured fighting vehicles.


He died on 5th November, 1943, at the age of 41.
He was elected a Graduate in 1922 and transferred to Associate Member in 1933.

William George Rees was born in 1903 and apprenticed at the Royal Arsenal, Woolwich. The whole of his subsequent career was passed at the Arsenal, first as Junior Draughtsman on jig and tool work, later as Mechanical Engineering Draughtsman in the Tank Section, and latterly as Draughtsman, Grade I, engaged on design work on tanks and armoured fighting vehicles.

He died on 5th November, 1943, at the age of 41.

He was elected a Graduate in 1922 and transferred to Associate Member in 1933.
