"WALTER WRENCH, whose death occurred on 3rd May 1949, at the early age of thirty-three, was elected a Graduate of the Institution in 1945, and was transferred to Associate Membership in the following year.
He was educated at the Grammar School and later at the Technical College, Doncaster, and served his time from 1931 to 1936 in the locomotive workshops of the London and North Eastern Railway at Doncaster.
