c1831 Born at Thorverton, the son of Thomas Milford and his wife Elizabeth Potter
1861 Living at 11 Bullen Street, Thorverton, Exeter: Thomas Milford (age 62 born Thorverton), Agricultural Implement Maker - Master employing 12 men. With his children; Frank P. Milford (age 30 born Thorverton), Agricultural Implement Maker; Sarah P. Milford (age 25 born Thorverton); John Milford (age 23 born Thorverton), Plumber, Painter; Luke Milford (age 18 born Thorverton), Wheelwright; and Susan Milford (age 16 born Thorverton), Dressmaker. Also two apprentices shown as Wheelwrights. Note that in the next house (no. 12) is James Milford (age 23 born Thorverton), Blacksmith. With his wife Elizabeth A. Milford (age 25 born Seaton.[1]
