1937 Listed Exhibitor - British Industries Fair. "Ace" 5/10cwr. "Tower" Platform Friction Hoist, complete with timber carrying attachment. (Stand No. B.312) [1]

1938 Became public company.

1961 Manufacturers of "ACE" hoisting equipment, specialists in construction of plant for gas companies, coke debreezing and vibrating screen units. [2]

1958 Patent - Improvements in or relating to power operated guided skip hoists.

1963 Acquired William Jones Ltd[3]

1964 William Jones won contract for 6 Osprey sludge bed discharges for a sewage works in Tripoli[4]

1974 Patent - Tower Particularly for a Hoist.

1978 William Jones (Chemical Engineers) was a subsidiary of ACE Machinery[5]
