1897 September. First General Meeting. P. H. Hutton, chairman. Also present were Mr. Mollett, Mr. McEwan, Mr. Congers, Mr. Mr Casburn, Mr. Mr. Childe, Mr. Mr Bourne, Mr. Whitfield, and Mr. Tuke. Mr. Shelton was appointed a director. Tuke reported that there was difficulty in getting hold of cars especially large ones for passengers and waggon for loads of 2-ton and upward.
